The American Shopping Mall was created and developed in a partnership. It went into service on August 1995. It’s main http server is custom made and written in Java. This site was recognized as the #19 and #22 most visited site on the Internet during march and April of 1996 by PC Magazine online. It is currently rated as one of the top malls in size, visits and context on the Internet by such groups as Lycos, PC Magazine online and smaller organizations. Some of applications that are currently running on the server are included the following list:
· A real time Java logon and password system for allowing new customers to sign into a service and receive a password in real time. It also collects data on hacking attempts and saves the information to a data file for later evaluation. It verifies payment of a third party and builds the necessary data files and directories to allow for the standard HTML password structure.
· A real time Java system for the monitoring the status of the a web server. It is loaded live off the Internet and can be used in any Java enabled browser. Visit . to see the live application. It is password protected so it will not run unless you place the correct password in the dialog box. Visit to see a snap shot of what the program looks like when in use. As you can see from the snapshot, this applet relays a great deal of data back to the web administrator. This keeps the administrator informed of the status of the traffic and an overall understanding of the performance of the webserver.
· A fully function multi-socket, multi - threaded user interface and navigation applet. This applet resides as the first load for the American Shopping Mall. It loads a series of pictures and creates links to other HTML's on the Internet. It also has a user IP identifier and a server statistics canvas that allows the visitor to see what's happening on the server they are visiting. Visit to see the applet in action
· A Java mail server that conforms to SMPT standards. This mail server is currently running at www.greenearth.com on port 25 the standard mail port. You can either mail to it or to it at www.greenearth.com. This is one of those processes where it works and does not have any fancy GUI to show you its working
· Specialty Java socket servers .
· Password sweeping and deletion applications. Written in Java.

· Dynamic HTML parsing and build Java servlets for automatically updating and generating HTML files
· Applications for launching child tasks in their own virtual machine.
· Applications for management and manipulation of non Java servers.
· Mass email applications. Written in Java
